About The Position

Simpson Housing is seeking a Groundskeeper/Maintenance Assistant for the Icon at Ross Apartment Homes, a premier class A 372-unit mid-rise community located between Uptown Dallas, Deep Ellum, and the Dallas Arts District neighborhoods in Dallas, TX. As a key member of the property maintenance team, the role is responsible for ensuring the property maintains exceptional curb appeal by keeping the grounds and buildings clean and properly maintained. This includes assisting in lawn and landscape maintenance, sprinkler repair/adjustment, snow removal from walkways, and assisting maintenance team members with apartment make-readies, including painting and touch-up. The position requires delivering superior customer service and exemplifying professionalism at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of basic maintenance and/or general labor experience preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation required

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring your property maintains exceptional curb appeal by keeping the grounds and buildings clean and properly maintained
  • Assisting in lawn and landscape maintenance including repair/adjustment of sprinklers
  • Removing snow from walkways
  • Assisting maintenance team members with apartment make-readies including painting and touch-up
  • Delivering superior customer service and exemplifying professionalism at all times
