Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Minimum of 1-year experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
• Must possess a valid driver's license if the site requires.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to operate and maintain equipment for irrigation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, testing and maintaining the grounds and surrounding landscape of Mayo Clinic properties free of debris, clean, safe, and in good appearance.
• Performing maintenance and preventative maintenance functions, including lawn care, landscaping, grounds equipment and weather-related maintenance.
• Assisting with emptying trash cans daily throughout the site and performing other porter duties such as picking up litter.
• Operating and maintaining equipment for groundskeeping.
• Documenting all activities in the electronic work order system.
• Interacting professionally with patients, visitors, contractors, and Mayo Clinic staff.
