[https://www.ellisdon.com/community] You as a Groundskeeper (Contract) will: Perform day‑to‑day exterior grounds care to ensure all properties are safe, clean, and well‑maintained Support seasonal landscaping tasks including lawn care, horticulture, litter control, and minor exterior repairs Perform lawn maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and aerating. Maintain garden beds: planting, weeding, cultivation, mulching, and pruning. Assist with seasonal flower installations and ongoing horticultural upkeep. Remove debris, leaves, branches, and litter from all exterior grounds. Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, cleanliness issues, or landscape deficiencies. Maintain walkways, courtyards, parking areas, and exterior common spaces. Ensure safe operation of grounds equipment and adherence to safety protocols. Operate grounds equipment such as Zero Turn mowers, gas & battery operated trimmers, blowers, and other small machinery. Perform basic equipment checks and report mechanical issues promptly. Ensure tools and materials are stored safely and securely. Assist with small exterior repairs (e.g., fence repairs, minor excavation, soil/topdressing work). Support preparation for seasonal events or onsite activities as required. Work collaboratively with the Grounds Supervisor and other team members. Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Physically able to lift, bend, and perform manual labour tasks.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • You are open to a contract opportunity from April 2026 to November 2026

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or horticulture (preferred).
  • Experience operating grounds equipment is an asset.
