As a Grounds Technician on our team, you will perform a variety of grounds tasks for our residents and facility - you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of our residents. Requirements

• Experience maintaining grounds throughout the entire year to ensure the community's outdoor spaces are clean, well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing
• Removes weeds and trim and edges around walkways, flower beds and walls, using clippers, weed cutters and edging tools
• Apply pesticides and other treatments to lawns and scrubs
• Cleans and maintains outdoor furniture and other outdoor furnishings
• Collects and disposes of leaves, branches and other items during fall clean-up
• Removes trash and ensures proper disposal, recycling, and/or scrapping. Ensures proper operation of trash compactors.
• Removes snow from sidewalks and parking lots and distributes salt on sidewalks and parking lots in preparation for inclement weather
• Installs and removes holiday decor and displays such as Christmas lights and other decorations approved by the Executive Director
• Assists with any set-up and breakdown for outdoor events
