About The Position

This position performs a variety of physical tasks to maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of outdoor and sometimes indoor spaces. This includes mowing, trimming, planting, and applying treatments to lawns and gardens, maintaining equipment, and tending to recreational areas. The role might require knowledge of plants, soils, and equipment operation.

Requirements

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position (lift, stand, stoop, crouch, sit).
• Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time in various weather conditions.
• Prior experience operating lawn care equipment.
• Reliable with the ability to perform routine tasks with little to no supervision.
• Valid SC driver's license with clean driving record.
• Attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Some irrigation experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture while upholding the company’s core values.
• Mow lawns, prune bushes and trees, and edge walkways to ensure that the grounds have a well-manicured look.
• Work together with landscape crew to ensure that the grounds are always properly cared for.
• Take on seasonal landscaping projects as assigned.
• Travel to remote locations in Richmond Hill, GA and Columbia, SC to perform grounds care.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
