We’re hiring an Entry-Level Grounds Person (General Laborer) to support daily operations at an active quarry site in Jamesville, NY. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a stable company and build a long-term career in the mining and aggregates industry.
Requirements
- Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply — no prior mining experience required
- Ability to perform physical labor and heavy lifting
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work in a loud, industrial environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and team mindset
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, construction, or similar environments preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with plant operations, including site cleanup and general upkeep
- Support material handling and movement throughout the site
- Help with loading and unloading materials and finished products
- Monitor equipment and report any issues to maintenance or supervisors
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
