About The Position

Quail West is hiring a dependable and hardworking Grounds Operator I to assist with the daily care and maintenance of the club’s grounds and landscaping. The role helps maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members and guests. The Grounds Operator works with the Grounds team to uphold consistent maintenance standards across the property. This is a full-time hourly position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM, plus one weekend per month. The pay rate is $18 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience operating landscaping or grounds maintenance equipment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to follow instructions, solve problems, and work independently or as part of a team.
Professional, dependable, and safety-conscious work ethic.
Willingness to participate in training and follow established policies and procedures.
Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform daily grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
Safely operate and maintain grounds equipment, including push mowers, riding mowers, line trimmers, stick edgers, blowers, and hedge trimmers.
Maintain landscaped areas to ensure the property is clean, attractive, and well-kept.
Follow established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
Participate in departmental training to support consistent grounds maintenance standards.
Work collaboratively with the Grounds team to complete daily assignments efficiently.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
