Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Valid G Class Driver’s License
  • Able to lift parts or pieces weighing 50 lbs on your own throughout a shift
  • Able to work outside in all weather conditions throughout the year
  • Experience operating a skid steer/man lift equipment

Nice To Haves

  • DZ Class Driver’s License is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general grounds maintenance duties such as litter picking, shoveling, and site clean-up
  • Use hand tools and equipment (e.g., litter pickers, shovels, and other maintenance tools) safely and effectively
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Work independently while coordinating with team members to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Work extended daily schedules of up to 11 hours, with the possibility of reaching 60 hours per week on a semi-regular basis
  • Adapt to varying start and end times depending on site needs and weather conditions
  • Work Saturdays as required, including extended hours around Statutory Holidays
  • Perform physically demanding tasks including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs on uneven terrain
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and members of the public
