About The Position

Responsible for the general maintenance & appearance of the grounds, gardens, parking lots, & walkways at the club. You are dependable and eager to learn. This person will be a part of a team that creates an outdoor environment that is well-maintained, orderly, and safe for members, staff, & guests. You have dependable transportation to get to and show up on time for your shift.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of horticulture & skill in the performance of a wide variety of gardening tasks.
Skilled in operating electric tools; operating gas-operated gardening, landscaping, construction & plumbing.
Knowledge of water irrigation systems, including overall operation & repair.
Landscaping methods & proper use of chemicals, fertilizers, & pesticides.
One or two years of related maintenance & landscaping experience in a similar role.
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent experience.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
A valid Driver's License is required.
Must have the ability to work in the United States unrestricted.

Nice To Haves

Education in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or any similar trade is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain landscape & garden areas as needed by planting, trimming, fertilizing, mowing, or other activities.
Maintain irrigation system(s) to ensure proper watering times, water coverage, and minimize leaks & overspray.
Perform minor fixes & maintenance with plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, & painting.
Keep outdoor living spaces, furniture, light fixtures, & equipment clean at all times.
Furniture moving is also required in this position.
