About The Position
PCSI is hiring a Grounds Maintenance worker to support its contract at El Paso Border Patrol in El Paso, Texas. The role performs a variety of grounds maintenance functions involving skilled and semi-skilled craft trades and reports to the Project Manager. Typical work hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The position may require work outside in inclement weather and exposure to dirt, debris, and odors. PCSI is an AbilityOne employer; individuals and veterans with disabilities may be prioritized for the role, and documentation may be required. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of groundskeeping methods, including use of lawn equipment.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and speed in work performed.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Ability to work as a team member and develop effective working relationships with staff and clients.
- Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screenings.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and tolerate exposure to dirt, debris, and odors.
- Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and site access if required.
- Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities
- Perform grounds maintenance functions in skilled and semi-skilled craft trades to support the assigned contract.
- Assist with planning, layout, and completion of modifications and repairs.
- Complete minor grounds maintenance tasks to proficiency.
- Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of grounds equipment.
- Read, understand, and complete incoming work orders.
- Follow applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
