Future Opening Opportunity - Outdoor Grounds Maintenance
About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Grounds Maintenance professional. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds outside the building, including trimming grass, trees, and shrubs, removal and planting of all types of plants, as well as snow removal and hazards/obstructions removal. You’ll maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing outdoor spaces, creating a welcoming first impression for our guests.
Requirements
- Knowledge in planting and shrub maintenance required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of landscape experience is helpful.
- Previous experience with exterior plant maintenance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all plants and grounds to include but not limited to pick up all trash, water all plants, shrubs, trees, flowers, as necessary.
- Trim, prune, fertilize and maintain all trees, plants and shrubs on the grounds.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the manufacturer’s preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensure resort grounds are maintained so that guests are not inconvenienced because of repairs or maintenance.
