About The Position

The Grounds Laborer is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and playability of the golf course. This includes landscaping, mowing, and general grounds maintenance to ensure the course is safe, well-manicured, and visually appealing for members and guests.

Requirements

• Experience operating a zero-turn mower required
• Reliable transportation and Attendance
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat and humidity
• Ability to lift, bend, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Nice To Haves

• Prior landscaping experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate landscaping and turf equipment, including zero-turn mowers, push mowers, weed eaters, and leaf blowers
• Mow fairways, roughs, tee boxes, greens surround, and common areas as directed
• Edge, trim, and maintain landscaped areas and bunkers
• Remove debris, leaves, trash, and litter from course grounds
• Assist with irrigation support and basic course maintenance as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of all assigned equipment
• Follow all golf course safety standards and operational procedures
• Report turf issues, hazards, or equipment concerns to supervisor immediately
