About The Position

The Grounds Keeper is responsible for ensuring all areas of the facility such as but not limited to: maintenance, production, and shipping, restrooms, lunchroom, driveways, parking areas and grounds surrounding the facility to ensure a safe work environment.

Proven experience operating equipment (weed eater, and street sweeper, forklift)

Valid driver’s license
18+ years old
Basic literacy for reading instructions and using hand tools

Responsibilities

Attend all scheduled safety, department, and company meetings as required.
Follow and enforce company safety polices and safe work practices at all times to ensure safety of self and others
Maintain clean inside and outside work areas
Empty barrel and trash containers
Maintain office floors, restrooms, and break rooms
Perform other janitorial services as needed
Operate equipment and tools for seasonal activities as necessary.
Inventories cleaning supplies and notifies appropriate personnel when reorders are needed, being mindful of time allowance needed in ordering process.
Submit detailed and accurate work orders for any equipment issues as occurrences happen.
