About The Position

The Grounds and Maintenance Associate helps maintain the appearance, safety, and cleanliness of outdoor facilities and landscaped areas. The role supports daily groundskeeping operations through routine maintenance, seasonal upkeep, and general exterior care, helping promote a safe and professional environment. The associate works independently and alongside operations teams to identify maintenance needs, address safety concerns, and support daily operational needs.

Attention to detail in maintaining lawns, landscaping, sidewalks, parking areas, and outdoor spaces.
A team-oriented mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to work alongside operations teams.
Problem-solving ability to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between work areas as needed.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks during 8–12 hour shifts.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and humidity.
Ability to safely operate landscaping tools, power equipment, and machinery while wearing required PPE.

Nice To Haves

2–5 years of landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns, landscaped areas, and exterior grounds.
Plant, water, fertilize, and care for grass, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
Remove weeds, leaves, debris, trash, and other materials from outdoor areas.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of sidewalks, parking lots, entrances, and common areas.
Operate landscaping and groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform seasonal duties, including snow removal, salting walkways, and leaf cleanup.
Assist with minor exterior repairs and general property upkeep as needed.
Conduct routine inspections of outdoor spaces to identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
Follow company safety procedures and proper equipment-handling practices.
Support daily operational needs while maintaining productivity and time-management standards.
