About The Position
Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking Plant Groundman for Asphalt Plants. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us. The Plant Groundman will help support the project and crew with various tasks at the HMAC facility.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience
- Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety
- Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. Austin Bridge & Road is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on Plant equipment
- Operate equipment such as skid steers, man lifts and water trucks
- Unload oil trucks
- Assist Foreman
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
- Be able to climb ladders and stairs
- Communicate effectively with fellow workers
- Work days or nights and weekends as required
- Be able to work at multiple locations
- Follow all procedures and safety requirements of the company
- Be able to work in hot and cold weather
- Work at heights up to 70’
- Use various hand tools
- Performs other duties as assigned
