About The Position

Currently hiring a Groundkeeper for our apartment community, Trombley Lodge. This role involves preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status, maintaining the grounds, and assisting the maintenance team. The Groundkeeper will also be responsible for ensuring the property is clean and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to management, while providing outstanding customer service to residents.

Requirements

• At least 12 months of onsite experience
• Knowledge of painting
• Basic makeready skills
• Knowledge of how to make keys and rekey units
• Knowledge of appliances
• Able to frequently stand; walk for extended periods of time; push, pull, lift, carry or maneuver of up to 40 pounds independently and 100 pounds with assistance.
• Willing to work overtime as needed, on weekends as needed.
• Experience in high rise buildings
• Reliable
• Takes pride in their work
• Willing to help with work orders and make readies
• Must have their own personal transportation

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service
• Clean interior and exterior of the building
• Do trash outs
