About The Position
Village at Piney Pointe Apartments is now hiring a Groundkeeper in Houston. This role is responsible for maintaining the property's appearance and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. The Groundkeeper will perform various tasks related to grounds maintenance, trash removal, and assisting the maintenance team.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs
Nice To Haves
- Six Months of experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
- Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
- Provide residents with outstanding customer service
- Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris
- Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces
- Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas
- Maintain dumpster and trash areas
- Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents
