Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Automotive and parts experience required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, quick learner, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and extended hours as needed
- Willingness to travel as required
- Current SkyWest employees must be in good standing with the Company
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Ground service equipment experience or knowledge
Responsibilities
- Keeping parts inventory on hand to support our mechanics.
- Enter data into the Fleet Focus fleet maintenance program
- Purchase parts for GSE shops
- Compile and analyze departmental parts usage data
- Coordinate with vendors regarding parts pricing and availability
- Receive, ship, transfer, and organize parts within Fleet Focus and the parts room
- Pick up, package, and deliver parts as needed
- Conduct inventory counts for GSE shop parts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts room
- Keep the travel trailer stocked with parts required for annual station visits
- Generate weekly, monthly, and annual parts reports
- Review, approve, and investigate invoices within the accounting system
- Order and maintain inventory of office and shop supplies for GSE shops
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
