Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Automotive and parts experience required
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, quick learner, and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and extended hours as needed
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Current SkyWest employees must be in good standing with the Company

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Ground service equipment experience or knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Keeping parts inventory on hand to support our mechanics.
  • Enter data into the Fleet Focus fleet maintenance program
  • Purchase parts for GSE shops
  • Compile and analyze departmental parts usage data
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding parts pricing and availability
  • Receive, ship, transfer, and organize parts within Fleet Focus and the parts room
  • Pick up, package, and deliver parts as needed
  • Conduct inventory counts for GSE shop parts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts room
  • Keep the travel trailer stocked with parts required for annual station visits
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and annual parts reports
  • Review, approve, and investigate invoices within the accounting system
  • Order and maintain inventory of office and shop supplies for GSE shops
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
