Grounds Custodian
About The Position
VP Racing is seeking a full-time Ground Custodian in the Facilities Department at our Corporate Headquarters location (San Antonio, Texas). The Ground Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and presentable environment by performing industrial cleaning and light facilities maintenance tasks. This role involves sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing common areas, and ensuring trash is emptied regularly. The ideal candidate will support a clean and organized workplace, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with the Facilities Supervisor as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of industrial cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Extremely organized
- Able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Ability to assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise
