About The Position

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking experienced Groomers who are passionate about pets and providing friendly service to pet owners. The Groomer provides brushing, bathing, conditioning, grooming, and styling services according to owners’ instructions and/or breed standards, while ensuring pets’ wellness and safety. This commission-based role has a guaranteed minimum; maximum pay may vary according to hours worked and the number of grooming services completed weekly. The listed annual compensation range is $27,601.60–$67,750.00. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered to new Groomer hires with at least one year of experience.

The role also includes building ongoing relationships with pet parents, recommending relevant products and services, conducting community outreach, completing safety training, maintaining a clean and inviting grooming environment, and assisting store team members during grooming downtime. Groomers are expected to continue developing their grooming skills and techniques. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of grooming experience, with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer.
• Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment, or pets weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to provide personal grooming equipment, such as clippers, blades, and scissors.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a drug screening in applicable states.

Nice To Haves

• Formal grooming training certification or experience working under an established certified groomer.

Responsibilities
