About The Position

This is a part-time union position in the grocery department at Cub Foods Eden Prairie. The role involves making connections with customers, stocking and rotating cases, assisting with receiving products, merchandising, maintaining a clean store, and working collaboratively with the team. The position requires individuals who are reliable, punctual, and work as scheduled. Preference may be given to candidates who are friendly, outgoing, have grocery experience, understand stocking and merchandising, and are motivated for career growth.

Requirements

Willingness to make lasting connections with customers
Ability to fill and rotate cases and displays (may involve heavy lifting up to 50lbs)
Ability to assist with receiving products and merchandising
Ability to help maintain a clean and sanitary store
Ability to work with the team
Reliability and punctuality for shifts
Frequent lifting/carrying over 50 lbs.
Frequent pushing/pulling to 2000 force lbs.
Frequent walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting, kneeling, repetitive motion: turning, bending
Frequent equipment operation: forklift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, compactor, baler, scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, paging system
Frequent mental tasks: judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing basic computer skills
Environmental exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces
Occasional mental tasks: math/calculation, climbing ladders
