About The Position
Goodness Me! is seeking a part-time Grocery Team Member for their Guelph store location. This role involves interacting with customers, assisting them in finding products, and providing recommendations. The position also includes maintaining product knowledge, upholding store standards, managing inventory, assisting with merchandise displays, and receiving/processing warehouse stock. Responsibilities also extend to manual loading and unloading of materials.
Requirements
- Great communication skills
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction
- The ability to lift, move or maneuver objects up to 25 lbs
- The ability to stand for extended periods; up to 8 hours per shift
- Flexibility in availability, including, working evenings, weekends, and daytime shifts
Nice To Haves
- Experience in retail is an asset
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers
- Offering help in locating items
- Making suggestions or recommendations
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
- Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards
- Replace used stock, rotate current stock, and ensure satisfactory inventory levels
- Assist with display of merchandise
- Assist with inventory management
- Participate in all manner of store maintenance
- Receive and process warehouse stock products
- Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices
