About The Position

We are hiring Custodians to help keep things clean and running smoothly. No prior experience is necessary as we will provide training. This role is part of the AbilityOne Program, a federal initiative offering employment opportunities to adults with disabilities. The position is located at the Fort Gregg-Adams Commissary and is a part-time, night shift role.

Responsibilities

• Check in with supervisor and teammates to go over the cleaning plan.
• Gather cleaning supplies such as mops, brooms, vacuums, and disinfectants.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Take out the trash and replace bags.
• Clean restrooms and refill supplies.
• Wipe down tables, chairs, doors, and other surfaces.
• Dust furniture, shelves, and vents.
• Wipe windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
• Perform a final walk-through to ensure cleanliness.
• Return tools and supplies to the storage area.
