About The Position

The Grocery Stocker duties include but are not limited to providing excellent customer service, gaining product knowledge, rotation of product, merchandising, and controlling shrink while working in a safe manner. This position has no required education or experience. Niemann Foods Management retains the discretion to add to or change the position requirements at any time. Position requirements may vary by store location.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.
• Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Slip resistant shoes with closed toe and heel
• Safety Cutter Knives
• Pallet jack
• Uniform per store policy
• Ladder or stepladder
• Regularly Stand, Walk, Use hands to finger, handle, or feel, Reach with hands and arms, Communicate with associates and customers, Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Frequently Climb or balance, Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally Overhead lifting, Crawl, Sit, Taste or Smell, Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Vision Close, Distance, Ability to adjust focus, Ability to distinguish colors, Peripheral, Depth perception
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals
• Exposure to outside weather conditions
• Exposure to risk of electrical shock

• Regularly Moderate noise level
