About The Position

Certco, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our warehouse team as Order Selectors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys independent, fast-paced work and wants to be rewarded for their efforts. As an Order Selector, you will be responsible for accurately building grocery orders for independent grocery stores in the Midwest. Once trained, you will manage your own workload and orders, with opportunities to listen to music while working and challenge yourself to improve performance and earnings through an incentive program. This is a part-time position with a 1st shift schedule from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent and excellent math skills
Ability to read and write legibly in English
Ability to count accurately and do simple math
Must be capable of standing, walking and climbing stairs for extended periods of time
Must be capable of climbing, stooping and kneeling
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 80 lbs
Ability to operate machinery
Ability to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers
Ability to pay attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously
Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers in a courteous and professional manner
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must comply with all safety requirements, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) when in operational areas.

Responsibilities

Pick and prepare grocery orders for shipment
Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity
Help ensure stores receive the products they need on time
Stay active in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is shipped
Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms
Tag or mark orders as requested
Repack orders when necessary
Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
Stock product in pick slots
Conduct physical inventories as required
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA and MSDS Standards
Meet company standards for productivity
Operate powered lift trucks in performance of order selecting duties when required
Conduct safety inspections on any equipment used
Use of hand-held computers / scanners and voice-enabled computers
