About The Position

C.A. Fortune is a national consumer-centric integrated commerce agency that helps brands win at retail by providing sales strategy, in-store execution, full-service marketing, and digital commerce. The Grocery Merchandiser will manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks, utilizing provided technology for reporting and photo uploads. This role involves merchandising, requiring the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds. The position is part-time, 24 hours a week, 3 days a week, with compensation of $18 hourly. Responsibilities include pre-selling, merchandising, gaining/maintaining distribution, ensuring products are well-stocked, and using mobile apps for reporting and communication. The role requires switching between tasks like stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams, and the ability to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods. It is an independent role requiring adherence to directions and excellent communication skills. Bilingual proficiency is preferred but not required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation
Valid Driver License
Proof of Automobile insurance
Reliable phone (within 5 years old) service and internet service for daily communication.
Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks & audits at local grocery retailer.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, retail environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Properly manage assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks.
Utilize technology for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
Perform merchandising duties, including stocking products and ensuring they are well-stocked.
Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
Order products if they are not in stock or low.
Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
Verify that clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
Maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores.
Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
