About The Position

C.A. Fortune is a national consumer-centric integrated commerce agency. The Grocery Merchandiser will properly manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks. They will have the ability to take pictures and complete reporting requirements with the technology provided. This position will require merchandising, and the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Territory includes Northern Columbus, Westerville, Hilliard, and surrounding areas. This position is full time, 35 - 40 / hours a week. The role involves selling, merchandising, and gaining/maintaining distribution within a variety of accounts. Ensuring clients' products are well stocked and ordering if product is not in stock or low. This position requires consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication. It requires switching between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day. The role requires the ability to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time. This is a position where you work independently, follow directions, and have excellent communication skills.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation
Valid Driver License
Proof of Automobile insurance
Reliable phone (within 5 years old) service and internet service for daily communication.
Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks & audits at local grocery retailer.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
Must be able to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus (but not required)

Responsibilities

Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
Ordering products, working product to shelves from new orders.
Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
Verify that our clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
Maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores.
Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, retail environment with minimal supervision.
Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
