About The Position

C.A. Fortune is a national consumer-centric integrated commerce agency that helps brands succeed in retail by providing sales strategy, in-store execution, marketing, and digital commerce. The Grocery Merchandiser will manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks, utilizing provided technology for reporting and photo uploads. This role involves merchandising, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and requires consistent use of mobile apps for reporting and communication. The position is part-time, 25-30 hours per week, with compensation between $22-$23 hourly. Responsibilities include selling, merchandising, gaining/maintaining distribution, ensuring products are stocked and ordered, and communicating with store teams. The role requires independent work, following directions, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid Driver License
  • Proof of Automobile insurance
  • Reliable phone (within 5 years old) service and internet service for daily communication.
  • Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks & audits at local grocery retailer.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently
  • Ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, retail environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Properly manage assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks.
  • Take pictures and complete reporting requirements with provided technology.
  • Perform merchandising duties.
  • Sell, merchandise, and gain/maintain distribution within a variety of accounts.
  • Ensure clients' products are well stocked and order if product is not in stock or low.
  • Consistently use mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
  • Switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams.
  • Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
  • Order products and work product to shelves from new orders.
  • Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
  • Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
  • Verify that clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
  • Maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
  • Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
  • Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
