About The Position

The Grocery Merchandiser will properly manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks. They will have the ability to take pictures and complete reporting requirements with the technology provided. This position will require merchandising, and the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds. This position is full time, 40 hours a week. The role involves selling, merchandising, and gaining/maintaining distribution within a variety of accounts. It requires ensuring client products are well stocked and ordering if product is not in stock or low. Consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication is necessary. The position requires switching between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day. The ability to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time is essential. This is a position where you work independently, follow directions, and have excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid Driver License
  • Proof of Automobile insurance
  • Reliable phone (within 5 years old) service and internet service for daily communication.
  • Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks & audits at local grocery retailer.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.

Responsibilities

  • Properly manage assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks.

  • Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
  • Ordering products, working product to shelves from new orders.
  • Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
  • Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
  • Verify that client products are accurately represented on store shelves.
  • Maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
  • Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
  • Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
