About The Position

C.A. Fortune is a national consumer-centric integrated commerce agency that helps brands win at retail by delivering sales strategy, in-store execution, full-service marketing, and digital commerce. The Grocery Merchandiser will manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks, utilizing provided technology for reporting and photo uploads. This role involves merchandising, requiring the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds. The territory covers Denver, Lakewood, Edge Water, and surrounding areas. This is a full-time position, working 32-35 hours per week, with compensation of $24 hourly, based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The role requires selling, merchandising, and gaining/maintaining distribution within various accounts, ensuring clients' products are well-stocked. Consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication is necessary. The position demands the ability to switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams, and requires the ability to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods. This is an independent role that requires following directions and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Ability to take pictures and complete reporting requirements with the technology provided.
  • Ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, retail environment with minimal supervision.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid Driver License.
  • Proof of Automobile insurance.
  • Reliable phone (within 5 years old) service and internet service for daily communication.
  • Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks & audits at local grocery retailer.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks.
  • Utilize technology for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
  • Perform merchandising duties.
  • Sell, merchandise, and gain/maintain distribution within a variety of accounts.
  • Ensure clients' products are well-stocked and order if product is not in stock or low.
  • Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
  • Order products and work product to shelves from new orders.
  • Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
  • Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
  • Verify that clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
  • Maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
  • Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
  • Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
