The manager also performs ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising duties, and may act as a backup cashier. They are responsible for the proper accounting of sales, preparing daily tasks for staff, controlling shrink, and preventing the sale of out-of-code products. Additionally, the manager opens and closes the store, implements emergency procedures, and performs other assigned duties with accuracy, honesty, and integrity.
