Requirements

Prefer 2 years’ experience in grocery
Excellent customer service skills
Must possess an attitude of service to others
Demonstrates self-discipline and accountability
Must be accurate and detail-oriented
Must be a team player, a leader and a positive role model
Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Willingness to take calculated risks to maximize sales
Exemplifies health department standards
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and trust with a diverse group of staff, guests and vendors
Must possess a strong desire to work hard, be enthusiastic, participate in achieving management goals, and lead by example
Must have intermediate or higher computer skills including MS Office
Possesses full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, & reaching) with excellent manual dexterity
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
18 years or older

Responsibilities

Support and assist leadership in the needs of the department
Provides excellent customer service
Supports training for new employees
Manages, maintains and tracks shrink & inventory
Demonstrates attitude of service to co-workers and guests
Keeps up on industry trends, standards and changes
Maintains department cleanliness, product freshness, & variety
Ensures the dissemination of and adherence to all company and department policies
Supports and follows sustainability programs
Supports and follows all safety and security policies
Promotes, orders & manages all supplies and products
Ensures proper merchandising and signage on all product displays
Supports merchandising plans
Operates within the Company’s Core Values, Company Brand, and Business Principles
