About The Position

The Grocery Inventory Validator is responsible for accurately processing delivery orders and assisting the shipping supervisor in completing daily orders. This role aims to eliminate or reduce out-of-stock products in the warehouse that were not picked by the puller. The primary responsibility is to ensure accurate scanning and pulling of all ordered items, thereby reducing out-of-stock situations. The validator will also communicate with customers regarding out-of-stock items, additions, and missing items.

Requirements

Ability to complete assigned shifts.
Basic mathematical knowledge.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
May be standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
Some days of prolonged walking.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Accurately process delivery orders.
Assist shipping supervisor to complete daily orders.
Eliminate/reduce out of stocks of products in the warehouse but not picked by the puller.
Ensure accurate scanning and pulling of all items being ordered.
Communicate with customers for out of stock, add and missing items.
Check orders and maintain pick pack report.
Provide answers to add and missing item-related queries.
Scan items if not matched with the order received.
Print orders received and provide to puller.
Spot count and verify accuracy of tobacco products.
Stay up to date on all promotions and special offers.
Maintain accurate records of transactions.
Handle price changes of certain items in special circumstances.
Coordinate with Floor employees and packer for out of stock products.
Assist in other areas such as Packing, counting product and clean-up as required.
