Responsibilities

  • Support the Grocery Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Grocery Department, including Frozen, Dairy, and Liquor/Beer.
  • Supervise, train, and support grocery associates to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations.
  • Execute ordering, receiving, pricing, stocking, and merchandising to maintain product availability and presentation standards.
  • Champion company customer service programs and professionally resolve customer questions or complaints.
  • Maintain inventory control, minimize shrink, and ensure removal of out-of-code or discontinued items.
  • Open and close the store and ensure compliance with cash-handling and sales accounting procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety, sanitation, security, and loss prevention policies.
  • Act as Person in Charge (PIC), overseeing total store operations in the absence of the Store Director and Grocery Manager.
