Ability to lift, move, and stack items weighing up to approximately 80 pounds
Ability to use ladders, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other store equipment
Willingness to work in a safety-sensitive position
Compliance with company attendance, grooming, and dress code standards
Ability to follow emergency procedures during equipment, system, or safety incidents

Responsibilities

Support the Grocery Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Grocery Department, including Frozen, Dairy, and Liquor/Beer.
Supervise, train, and support grocery associates to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations.
Execute ordering, receiving, pricing, stocking, and merchandising to maintain product availability and presentation standards.
Champion company customer service programs and professionally resolve customer questions or complaints.
Maintain inventory control, minimize shrink, and ensure removal of out-of-code or discontinued items.
Open and close the store and ensure compliance with cash-handling and sales accounting procedures.
Ensure adherence to company safety, sanitation, security, and loss prevention policies.
Act as Person in Charge (PIC), overseeing total store operations in the absence of the Store Director and Grocery Manager.
