Responsibilities

  • Assist the Grocery Manager in directing daily operations of the Grocery Department, including Grocery, Frozen, Dairy, and Liquor/Beer departments.
  • Supervise, train, and support department associates to ensure operational excellence and outstanding customer service.
  • Order, receive, store, price, stock, and merchandise products to maintain in-stock conditions and sales performance.
  • Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally while promoting a positive shopping experience.
  • Assist with inventory management, shrink control, pricing changes, and the removal of discontinued or out-of-code products.
  • Open and close the store and ensure compliance with company safety, sanitation, security, and operational standards.
  • Maintain accountability for cash handling procedures, including the issuance and collection of register funds.
  • Implement emergency procedures and respond to equipment, system, or operational issues as needed.
  • Oversee store operations and supervise associates in the absence of the Store Director and Grocery Manager.
  • Perform all duties with accuracy, honesty, integrity, and a commitment to company policies and procedures.
