This job involves performing essential duties with accuracy and maintaining a high level of productivity. The role requires exhibiting and developing customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior, promoting high morale within the department and store, and maintaining good working relationships with other department managers to improve storewide sales. The employee must comply with all company policies, programs, and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct, and provide professional examples for other store team members. Key responsibilities include bagging guests' purchases promptly and efficiently, carrying purchases to their automobiles safely, filling bag slots and supplies for efficient front-end operations, using supplies wisely, assisting with price checks and go-backs, performing general housekeeping and 'sweep sheet' duties, and keeping the parking lot clear of carts. Safety policies regarding cart retrieval must be followed, and carts should be cleaned before being put away. Tips are not permitted and should be turned into the service desk if persisted.
