About The Position

Woodlands Market, Marin and San Francisco's premier gourmet grocery store, has openings for a Grocery Clerk Superstars! Grocery Clerks are responsible for making sure the store is well stocked and presentable at all times. Grocery Clerks must balance all the tasks that are required for this job. Grocery clerks are encouraged to build relationships and converse with guests while moving through out the store to check for the next task.

Requirements

Effective customer service (service orientation etc).
Organized and detailed oriented.
Able to prioritize work and handle multiple, concurrent tasks.
Excellent verbal and customer service skills.
Ability to stock, order, rotate, and move product aroud store.
Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, and stock area.
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Repeated lifting, bending, and twisting.

Responsibilities

Making sure the store is well stocked and presentable at all times.
Balancing all the tasks that are required for this job.
Building relationships and conversing with guests while moving through out the store to check for the next task.
Stocking, ordering, rotating, and moving product around the store.
Freely accessing all areas of the store including selling floor, and stock area.
