About The Position

Our Lacombe Food Store is offering an excellent opportunity for you! We’re currently looking for a casual Grocery Clerk to join our dynamic team. This is a casual position, meaning less than 24 hours per week, with availability required on weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Address customer requests in an efficient and friendly manner
• Unload grocery shipments
• Receive, organize, and display merchandise
• Be alert for unauthorized merchandise removal
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
