About The Position

Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for a part-time Grocery Clerk to join the Collegeville crew. This is a part-time position, with up to 24 hours per week. The schedule includes two weekday afternoons from 2pm or 3pm to 8:30pm and one weekend shift weekly. Applicants must be 16 years or older. Kimberton Whole Foods does not hire seasonally.

Requirements

Part-time, up to 24 hours per week
Must be 16 years or older
Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
Standing- prolonged standing.
Work environment – movement based with most of the time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to all
Receive and stock all dry goods, cold beverages, household, and bulk items
Rotate backstock on a first-in first-out basis
Maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage
Perform KWF inventory management practices
Assist the front-end department by scanning customers' groceries, completing transactions, and bagging groceries.
