Grocery Clerk
About The Position
The Grocery Clerk is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, and assisting the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals. This role also involves monitoring quality assurance standards, embracing the Customer 1st strategy, and demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Smith’s Food and Drug, a part of The Kroger Company since 1998, serves customers in over 140 stores across multiple states. - Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return
- Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department
- Monitor all established quality assurance standards
- Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service
