Grocery Clerk
About The Position
The Grocery Clerk is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, assisting the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals, and monitoring quality assurance standards. This role also involves embracing the Customer 1st strategy and demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others. Smith’s Food and Drug, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and now serves customers in over 140 stores across Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. Responsibilities
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return.
- Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department.
- Monitor all established quality assurance standards.
