About The Position

The grocery stocker ensures shelves are full and organized with products, maintaining a visually appealing and easily accessible shopping environment. They also assist customers with locating items and may handle basic cashier duties.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the supermarket.

Responsibilities

• Ensures consistent, efficient, pleasant customer experiences.
• Continually seeks merchandising techniques to maximize sales in the Grocery department.
• Responsible for receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise, rotating products for freshness, and keeping the store clean and tidy.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the store backroom and aisles.
• Assist with inventory as needed.
• May operate power equipment for stocking and moving merchandise.
• Performs other related duties as required.
