About The Position

This role involves providing World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers, team members, and outside vendors. Key responsibilities include receiving, breaking down, stocking, rotating, merchandising, facing, and ensuring presentation perfection within the Grocery Department. The position requires standing on your feet continuously on a regular basis and adhering to all company policies.

Requirements

World Famous Friendly attitude to customers & team members.
Ability to read product labels to stock properly.
Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
Ability to keep back room clean & organized.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to multi-task & perform all tasks with a sense of urgency.
Ability to learn, follow, and model all safety operating procedures.
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 45 pounds.
Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers and teammates.
Work as part of a team.
Report to work on time as scheduled, in proper work attire, prepared for their full shift.
Assist in unloading merchandise.
Transport stock for storage in stock areas.
Stock merchandise to shelf with high efficiency.
Keep store shelves fully stocked according to shelf tag-location-schematic.
Assist in building store displays.
Keep perishable merchandise rotated and pull out-of-date product as needed.
Control level of damaged goods.
Properly present assigned section prior to leaving at the end of scheduled shift.
Observe policies and procedures established for each department.
Learn, follow, and model all safety operating procedures.
Stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.
Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
