About The Position
Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together. This role is for a student looking for a career in Retail Store Operations.
Requirements
- Positive team player attitude.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to and at times in excess of 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Responsibilities
- Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines representing the Values and Brand.
- Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines on Dress Code, Personal Hygiene and Customer Service.
- Attending to customers in the Grocery store.
- Deliver excellent customer service and drive customer loyalty.
- Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
- Meet all Meadow Lake Co-op guidelines on hygiene, presentation and customer service in the grocery store.
- Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products and their sources.
- Participate in maintaining location image and housekeeping standards.
- Operate cash register and computer for electronic transactions.
- Other duties as assigned.
