GROCERY/ASST DEPT LEADER
About The Position
This position involves assisting the Department Manager in planning, organizing, staffing, training, and directing Grocery Department associates. Key functions include performing production and customer service duties, and maximizing store sales and profits safely and ethically, in accordance with company policies and procedures. The role also requires demonstrating the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Smith’s Food and Drug, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and now serves customers in over 140 stores across Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming.
