About The Position

The intent of this position is to allow those students who have graduated from the Albany Medical Center Nurse Anesthesiology Program to be employed within 30 days of graduation as a GRNA prior to certification as a CRNA. The employee shall take and pass the NBCRNA certification exam within 90 days of the date of graduation. These providers have signed an agreement to start employment with Albany Medical College. Requirements

  • Graduated from the Albany Medical Center Nurse Anesthesiology Program
  • Signed an agreement to start employment with Albany Medical College
  • HIPAA Protected Health Information knowledge
  • Knowledge of Federal and New York State statutes regarding sensitive information
