About The Position
This is a temporary position for a Grinding and Polishing Worker-Hand in Peoria County. Good attendance is crucial for this role. The job involves grinding and finishing parts up to 50 lbs using power tools, and the willingness to learn to operate various equipment such as furnaces, harness testers, and scopes. Responsibilities include loading and unloading parts according to process sheets, assisting with general cleanup, and cross-training in other areas as needed. This is a physically demanding job that requires the ability to routinely lift parts (50 lbs or less) and work in hot conditions, with team lifts for anything over 50 lbs.
Requirements
- Must have 8 months' work history at last 2 places of employment unless in school or military
- Must have Steel Toed Boots
- Must be able to lift 50lbs as needed
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous forklift experience
- Able to operate forklift very effectively and safely
