Grinder
About The Position
The Grinder is responsible for grinding finished materials and label material as needed and specified. This role requires the ability to identify different types of plastic materials (pails and lids) for grinding and to place the resulting regrind into Gaylord containers for re-use. The position also involves safely operating a forklift and pallet jack, maintaining a clean work environment, and adhering to the daily production schedule to prioritize work for improved efficiency. Record-keeping of set-up sheets, changes, and encountered problems is also part of the responsibilities.
Requirements
- Available for any shift.
- Able to lift 35 pounds.
- Work jobs that have repetitive motion.
- Implement and follow safe work practices and rules.
- Successfully pass E-verify, physician’s examination, drug screen and background check.
- Willing to have a baseline audio metric test.
- Sufficient work experience to be successful on the job.
- Must have a valid state driver’s license.
- No history of convictions for speeding tickets or reckless driving.
- Must be able to pass a DOT drug test and physical exam.

- Prefer high school graduate or GED.
