About The Position

This is a temp-to-full-time position for a Grinder. The role involves performing precision smoothing, polishing, or grinding of stainless-steel objects. Responsibilities include using various grinders to remove metal burrs and non-conforming edges on aluminum parts. The job also requires setting up and operating standard manufacturing equipment, deburring, buffing, or polishing materials to specifications, and potentially using hand tools. Quality checks and general upkeep of the working area, including sweeping, organizing, and cleaning, are also part of the duties.

Requirements

Experience in a foundry setting
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must be willing to submit to a national background check

Responsibilities

Use belt grinders, hand grinders, and radial grinders to remove metal burrs and non-conforming edges on aluminum parts.
Set up and operate standard manufacturing equipment.
Deburr, buff, or polish materials to specifications.
Use hand tools as needed.
Perform quality checks.
Maintain the working area, including sweeping, organizing, and cleaning.
