About The Position

Appleton Electric, an Emerson owned metal casting foundry located in South Milwaukee, WI, is currently seeking a Grinder to join our 3rd shift. In this role you will sort through and check quality of metal castings. The rate of pay is $22.40/hour plus a $.75/hour shift differential. Great opportunities for growth!

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods, strength in arms and legs
• Ability to work in a hot environment
• You understand the importance of working safely.
• You are a team player who is focused on quality

Responsibilities

• Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules
• Comply with and maintain areas to 5S standards
• Identify castings by type, perform a quality check and sort
• Use grinding equipment
• Observe all company rules and regulations
